The Electric Department consists of Chief Line Worker Jason J. Juneau is and one additional line worker. The Department is Located at the Village garage at 1 Lily Avenue and shares the garage with the Public Works Department.
The Rouses Point Municipal Electric System was formed on February 1, 1903. The Village Board are the officers of the System. All energy sold is purchased from the New York Power Authority and the New York Municipal Power Agency.
Approximately 95% of the Village's electric utilities are underground.
